Children: That’s silly.
People: Those with understanding will seek the Lord.
Leader: The Lord is with us.
Children: The Lord is our hideout and our safe place.
People: The Lord is our light and our salvation.

Leader: The Lord is here.

Children: The Lord is everywhere!

All: The Lord has searched our hearts.

Leader: The depth of God’s love for us is too vast for us to understand.

Children: God shaped us inside and out, and he did a great job.

All: We will praise you, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made.
The Lord God does all things well.

August 29

Leader: Come, let us sing to the Lord.
Children: God rescued us! God set us free.
All: The Lord fills us with good things.
Leader: Listen! Follow the Lord! Don’t forget!
Children: Following God is like eating fresh bread, spread with real butter, and honey.
All: The Lord fills us with good things,
He alone satisfies our innermost being.

Leader: We trust in the Lord God Almighty

Children: Lean in close, so you can hear what we say.

All: You are our rock and our salvation

Leader: Rescue us from the wicked, the unjust, and the cruel

Children: Even in tough times, you keep us going

All: From our childhood, you have been our hope and our trust
Let us praise the Lord together
